Each June and July, DUMC volunteers gather to assemble lunch kits for Hope Atlanta. We prepare “SuperPacks” that provide a week of meals for children who typically receive a free or reduced-price lunch at school, but may not have access to lunch over the summer. This family friendly meal packing event provides needed support in our community. This is a great all-ages event and usually takes only an hour. We will meet in the church gym from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10 and again on Monday, July 8. Join us for one or both Mission Mondays. We will need delivery drivers on Wednesday, July 10.
