The Prayer Ministry of Dunwoody UMC supports our members, visitors and the community with uplifting prayers. These volunteers use intercessory prayer, meaning they pray for others including our ministries, pastors, members in need, those on mission trips, people in need around the world and those who have specifically asked for prayer.

The Prayer Ministry also provides prayer blankets to those within our congregation who are experiencing illness or other special situations. Please contact prayer@dunwoodyumc.org for prayer blanket requests.

Make a Prayer Request

The Prayer Line is available 24 hours a day and is answered when a volunteer is in the Prayer Room. At other times, you may leave a confidential message with your prayer need. Leave your name and number if you'd like to be called back. If your prayer involves an emergency situation, please contact the pastor on call.

Send an E-mail

The Prayer Ministry of Dunwoody United Methodist Church supports all of our nurturing and outreach ministries. When emailing prayer@dunwoodyumc. org, please let us know if you'd like someone to call you back. If so, be sure to leave your phone number.

Submit a Prayer Card

Prayer request cards are in the pew racks in the Sanctuary. Complete a card and hand it to a member of the clergy, or place it in the prayer request boxes located in the Narthex and Parlor Narthex. All cards go to a member of the clergy first before reaching the Prayer Ministry, where intercessors pray for the needs that are expressed.
