Dunwoody UMC has a very active women’s ministry that spans all age groups and interests. Our groups welcome women who want to broaden their faith, make new friends, connect with like-minded women and participate in service projects. From small groups to banquets with guest speakers, there’s something for every woman at DUMC.

United Methodist Women

What Is United Methodist Women?

We are a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization for women to grow spiritually and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive.

What We Do

Dunwoody UMC has 9 circles, representing women between the ages of 20 – 90+. Each group is known as a “Circle” and meets monthly to engage in fellowship, mission work, Bible study and fun. We invite speakers on various topics and work on service projects like feeding the homeless, donating time and materials to community charities, working on global mission projects, participating in Bible studies and providing support to members who are sick, grieving, having babies and much more.

How to Get Involved

Read through the descriptions of the Circles to find one that matches your interest. Contact the Chairperson to visit a meeting.

Don’t See a Group That Fits Your Interests?

Let us know about your interests and age group. Dunwoody United Methodist Women wants to respond to the needs of the women of the church! New circles can be formed.

Women of Grace

Women of Grace is a group of women who plan and coordinate the annual Women of Grace dinner at DUMC, usually in January or February. This seated dinner includes music and a prominent guest speaker who inspires and challenges women of all ages. There’s also a role for men at the event, as the men of DUMC volunteer as servers for the dinner. Please check the church calendar for more information as the event nears.
