Dunwoody UMC offers a wide array of Sunday School classes each week, with groups ranging from college students to senior adults. We believe Christian education is a lifelong process of learning, believing, growing and serving. It is enabled in Christian community, as Christians continue to study, worship, have fellowship and serve together. How United Methodists Study Scripture | This June, learn How United Methodists Study Scripture, as your Clergy staff teaches from the book of the same name. This four-week Sunday School series is open to all adults, and an option for those whose regular Sunday School classes break for summer. Come for all four sessions, or drop in as you can! Adult Sunday School Drop In | DUMC is in mission to many incredible and worthwhile organizations. This July, you'll have the opportunity to hear from individuals representing four of our partners during our Adult Sunday School drop-in series. These sessions are open to all Adults, and an option for those whose regular Sunday School classes break for summer. Come for all four sessions, or drop in as you can! Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel: July 7, Murphy Harpst, July 14, Camp Glisson, July 21, Wellroot Family Services, July 28, Mully Children's Family.

Our Special Needs Ministry, CONNECTED, is growing! Join us for a small group Sunday school class focusing on life lessons & spiritual growth. This group is designed for individuals with special needs ages 14 and up! We look forward to seeing you there!

Shift

Men affected by divorce, learning to find a deeper connection with God in our new life story.  We meet for bible study on Sunday mornings, as well as regular social outings and support.

Heart & Soul

As young families, new parents, and couples, we come together to discuss life in this new phase and support one another as a community of faith, tied together in heart and soul.

L.i.F.T. Women

Looking for a new way to grow in faith? Join this Sunday school offering for women of all ages and stages! Led by Rev. Kathy Brockman and Rev. Calissa Dauterman, this class is a great place to meet new friends, deepen your knowledge of scripture, and get plugged into the life of the church. Our first study is a deep dive into the Psalms, using creative practices like art and music, alongside standard Bible study. We hope you’ll join us on the Sunday School hallway in Rooms 255/257 and invite a friend!

Wing and a Prayer

Adults in their 40s and 50s with children mostly in their teens focusing on spiritual growth through fellowship, learning and service.

Pacesetters

Adults 50+ focusing on the Bible and contemporary issues and how the two interrelate.

Interpreters

Older adults studying the Bible and discussing the meaning and relevance of scriptures in daily life.

Halftime

Married couples in their mid 30s to late 40s with preschool to high school children sharing faith-based studies with an emphasis on service and fellowship.

Growing in Faith Together (G.I.F.T.)

A place to study and reflect on the scriptures to enable God’s word to impact our spiritual lives.

Friends in Christian Growth

Adults in their 40s and 50s with children of various ages sharing family Christian values and seeking to apply God's word both individually and in the community.

Family Focus

Adults with young families discussing marriage, relationships and child rearing and exploring the Bible for greater understanding.

Faith Quest

All ages, couples and singles focusing on issues in everyday Christian life.

Faith Focus

Adults 55 to 75+ discussing a wide variety of topics relating to growing in our faith.

Crusaders

Older adults focusing on worshiping God by studying His Word.

Brand New Day

Married couples in their 40s and 50s with children and bound by faith and friendship discussing how to be better Christians, parents, children, friends and spouses.

Early Birds

Join us for a Sunday School class consisting mostly of wonderful choir members.  

Young Adults

Young adults in their 20s, 30s and beyond come together to learn and grow each Sunday Morning. We enjoy meeting people and building community and relationships with others and God.
