Dunwoody UMC offers several ministries and groups specifically for the men of our church and community. From small group studies to golf outings and volunteering at events, men of all ages and interests are welcome to participate. Each program provides an opportunity for Christian growth and fellowship.

Men's Groups

Men’s small group studies are offered throughout the year to help you grow in your faith, connect with like-minded men and enjoy regular fellowship. In addition to church-wide groups, some adult Sunday school classes also have events and studies specifically for men.

Best Man Bible Study

Each week, DUMC Men's Ministry hosts a faith and fellowship hour led by Rev. Josh Amerson and Rev. David Melton. Light refreshments and coffee are provided starting at 6:45 a.m., so please come early to fellowship. Each session will include a Bible lesson followed by guided discussions. All men of the church and community are welcome. Please bring a friend! Stay tuned for information about special guest speakers and a quarterly men's breakfast.

Radical Mentoring

Radical Mentoring is an intentional small group mentoring process that engages the men of DUMC to become mature followers of Christ.

18 Steps to Spiritual Wholeness

This men’s golf group is open to men of all ages, whether you golf or not. Breakfast is served for $20. Once a quarter, the group plays golf after breakfast.

Hall of Famers

This group of men meets monthly for breakfast and fellowship. They also provide volunteer support for DUMC events and support outreach missions throughout the world.

Men’s Bible Studies

We offer numerous opportunities for men to develop relationships with other men in the community through Bible study and fellowship.

BACON “Brothers Around Christ” is a young adult men’s group. They meet to discuss faith topics and build friendships.
