Dunwoody UMC offers several ministries and groups specifically for the men of our church and community. From small group studies to golf outings and volunteering at events, men of all ages and interests are welcome to participate. Each program provides an opportunity for Christian growth and fellowship.

Gwinnett Stripers Game | Join our Best Man men’s ministry group at a Gwinnett Stripers game on Sunday, September 15 (1:05 pm) at Coolray Field. Wildcat Cliffs Golf Outing | Neal Purcell has once again graciously offered to host a golf outing at Wildcat Cliffs in Highlands, NC for another great day of golf and fellowship! Join us on, Friday, October 11 for the day trip to Wildcat Cliffs. Arrive by 11:00 a.m. to begin group devotional and lunch. Men's Groups


Men’s small group studies are offered throughout the year to help you grow in your faith, connect with like-minded men and enjoy regular fellowship. In addition to church-wide groups, some adult Sunday school classes also have events and studies specifically for men.

Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study

Men of all ages and stages, meeting for bible study in the Young Adult Suite on Friday mornings at 7:30 a.m., with the exception of the 2nd Friday of each month. Regular attenders and drop-ins welcome, but click HERE to be added to the group distribution list.

Shift

Men affected by divorce, learning to find a deeper connection with God in our new life story.  We meet for bible study on Sunday mornings, as well as regular social outings and support.

18 Steps to Spiritual wHoleness

This ministry for men of all ages involves: Monthly breakfast meetings at Dunwoody UMC including Bible study/discussion; quarterly golf outings, and; additional periodic golf trips/outings. Our mission is to provide affordable golf outings open to all levels of golfers, while building our relationships with God and one another through the game of golf. BEST MAN Bible Fellowship

Each week, DUMC Men's Ministry hosts a faith and fellowship hour led by Rev. Phil Schroeder and Rev. David Melton. Join either in-person in our Fellowship Hall or online via Zoom. Each session will include a Bible lesson followed by guided discussions. All men of the church and community are welcome. Please bring a friend! Stay tuned for information about special guest speakers.

Radical Mentoring

Radical Mentoring is an intentional small group mentoring process that helps married fathers of young children live God-centric lives and fulfill their God-given potential.

Hall of Famers

The Hall of Famers are a group of senior men that gather on the second Friday of each month at DUMC for a full breakfast, fellowship, conversation and the occasional speaker. PLEASE NOTE THE NEW LOCATION. Join them at La Madelines at 1165 Perimeter Center W Ste 330, Atlanta on April 12 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. They would love to have some new faces, invite a friend! Growlers Men’s Reading Group

This group of men reads and discusses Christian-themed books, a few chapters each week. Each book and duration of time spent in each book is determined by group vote. In addition to book study, the group shares prayer concerns and does life together, often seeing each other in church, participating in mission projects, and meeting in person to deepen friendships.
