Ensure the chancel is properly adorned with correct paraments and prepare banners for each service. Straighten up and supply pew racks during the week.
Assist with audio-visual needs, operate cameras during worship, operate a sound mixer and direct cameras during worship and events. Training is available.
These volunteers review the guest registration pads after each Sunday and record attendance into DUMC’s computer system.
Older elementary children and youth (4th-12th graders) play an important role in the 11:05 a.m. Traditional worship services as they carry in the light of Christ each Sunday. Acolytes also assist in serving communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Volunteers are needed in the Chapel to assist with setting the table every Sunday for communion, offering prayers, as well as laundering the linens used weekly.
