Mark Your Calendars

October 26, 2018

Many of you will remember last May 13th. That was Mother’s Day, which of course, is always a special day. It was also our last worship service in our Sanctuary before beginning the construction phase of our building project.

For the last five and a half months the Traditional Service has been meeting alongside of the Contemporary Service in the Fellowship Hall. It has not been easy, but everyone has worked together to make it a great experience for all. I can’t begin to say, “Thank you” enough to the Worship Committee staff, and others for the “behind the scenes” work that has made the last few months so smooth.

That said, we are very excited to announce that on December 2nd we will be moving into our newly renovated Sanctuary. We know the journey has been a bit longer than we originally expected, but we wanted to make sure the Sanctuary was completely ready before we entered it. We are now ready to make this announcement with confidence.

On December 2nd we will have a wonderful celebration at our morning services. It will be the start of our Advent and Christmas season, and we will also be sharing the sacrament of our Lord’s Supper. We hope you will use this occasion to invite friends and family to join you in worship. Later that afternoon, we will have our family Christmas Concert.

All in all, it is going to be a glorious day. As we anticipate December 2nd, please hold the church in your prayers. Our desire is that we will use this time to share the good news of Jesus Christ, build a sense of community, and step forward into an exciting new future.

Blessings,

Dan
