Dunwoody UMC has a Transitional Housing ministry that helps families transition from homelessness to a state of self-sufficiency and permanent housing while offering them managed support. Our current Transitional Housing ministry partner is The Drake House, where we sponsor an apartment for one family at a time. On Friday, August 20 we will be moving in a single mom with six children (ranging in age from 1 to 14). Throughout the year we will mentor the family and help meet their emergency needs.
