Sports and Leisure Youth Staff Supervisor

Position Overview: The Sports and Leisure Youth Staff Supervisor role assists coaches in games and practices for ages 5-18.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Supervise youth soccer games and practices.

· Assist with minor field preparation and control of the overall game site.

· Oversee and support field staff.

· Enforce rules and safety precautions of the facility/field.

· Communicate with staff, coaches, players and parents.

· Ability to step in and referee/coach as needed.

· Sports experience preferred but not required.

· Read and understand the Safety Guidelines for each sport.

· Perform other such duties that are consistent with the nature of the position and that may be requested by the head coach

Education and Experience:

· Must be at least 25 years.

· Previous coaching experience in assigned sport is desired

· Has knowledge and background in the assigned sport

· Serve as an appropriate role model for youth staff and student athletes through his/her instructions and actions

Physical Demands:

Be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and be able to be at eye level with children.

Be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, walk or run. He/she may periodically need to reach, stoop, crouch, or kneel.

Work schedule:

This is a part-time position in which hours will vary based on season and schedule.

For Soccer Season:

Staff are needed from August 25, 2026 - November 8, 2026 and March – May (Dates to come)

Monday – Friday 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

For Basketball Season:

Staff are needed from November 17, 2025 - February 7, 2025.

Monday- Friday 3:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Additional eligibility requirements:

Work authorization requirements: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

High School or equivalent (Preferred)
