In-kind Donations
ways to give at Dunwoody UMC
There are many ways to give at Dunwoody UMC, including several drives for in-kind donations for specific mission projects and outreach programs during the year. These donations range from canned goods to school supplies and toiletries. If you are interested in donating something that is not listed here, contact Sean Penn.
What can I donate?
Several collection bins for specific programs and missions are located in the hall near the entrance to the Nursery. Each is labeled for the appropriate items or project.
The ministries and mission of our church take place because of the gifts you choose to offer - your financial gifts as well as your time, service and talent. Your financial gift to the Annual Campaign supports our ongoing ministries, missions and operating budget. Monetary gifts also can be made to a specific program or in memory or honor of someone. If you feel inclined to give monetarily, you can give here.
DUMC collects non-perishable food items for a number of missions and programs, including the Community Assistance Center, Hightower Homework Club, Mission Mondays and Trinity Table. Bins are located near the Nursery entrance.
DUMC’s adult and youth mission trips benefit from financial and in-kind donations to support each specific trip. Collected items might include toiletries, arts and crafts supplies, clothing or diapers.
Several DUMC ministries provide school supplies to needy children in the community. Drives for these projects typically accept backpacks, paper, pencils, notebooks and other common school items.
