What image comes to mind when you a picture a saint? Faultlessness or faith that struggles? Halos or hard-working hands? Perhaps it's a little of both. United Methodists confess a belief in the "communion of the saints," which includes all living believers and those who have gone before us. Through encouragement, generosity, and service, these faithful people show us what it means to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Their lives are snapshots of abundant living. So, join DUMC for our worship series, "Portraits of the Saints," where we'll explore how each of these lives be an example to us - witnessing to God's goodness and calling us to more.

Investing in the Next Generation

Every year, DUMC invests roughly $1200 in each child and youth because we know that a life of faith is easier with a strong foundation. Over 300 students attended retreats with our youth and children’s ministries this year – evidence of impact made by Dunwoody Youth Ministry and Dunwoody Kids.

Feeding Our Neighbors

DUMC is committed to fighting food insecurity—both in our community and around the world. Through FoodStock, our annual meal-packing event with Rise Against Hunger, we have packaged more than 5 million meals to date. Closer to home, we partner with the Community Assistance Center through monthly service days and support weekly food distribution with Backpack Buddies, helping ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need.

Creating Places of Belonging

Throughout 2026, we have heard countless stories of how God is bringing transformation to so many across our community. In 2026, we have already welcomed over 126 new members and celebrated nearly 56 baptisms. We welcomed over 200 honored guests and 700 volunteers for Night to shine, as our ministries for those with special needs (Connected) expand. Nearly 60 students from our DYM ministry have begin the journey toward Confirmation.
