Abundant Faith

When a table is filled to overflowing, we often say, “This is more than we can say grace over.” That’s how we feel about what God is doing at DUMC! We know that God has blessed us richly, and together, our generosity makes even more abundance possible.

“We must always give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of everyone of you for one another is increasing.” 2 Thessalonians 1:3

With God’s help, DUMC is working to set a
table that overflows with good things.

Investing in the Next Generation

Every year, DUMC invests roughly $1200 in each child and youth because we know that a life of faith is easier with a strong foundation. Over 300 students attended retreats with our youth and children’s ministries this year – evidence of impact made by Dunwoody Youth Ministry and Dunwoody Kids.

Feeding Our Neighbors

DUMC is committed to fighting food insecurity – in our community and through the world. To date, we have packaged over 4.3 million meals with Rise Against Hunger, through Foodstock, our annual meal packing event. Closer to home, we partner with the Community Assistance Center and Backpack Buddies to make sure our neighbors have enough to eat.

Creating Places of Belonging

Together, we at DUMC are working to Lead with Love and welcome all – and our neighbors are noticing! In 2025, we have already welcomed over 120 new members and celebrated nearly 60 baptisms. We have expanded our ministries to young people and adults with special needs – Connected. And we continue to reach out into our community, fostering communities in senior living facilities, showing appreciation to our local educators, and offering care to folks walking through grief and divorce.

Together, we are setting a table so full of blessings that it truly is “more than we can say grace over.” Know that your generosity will make even more abundance possible in the year ahead.
