Lenten Prayer Tree
Dunwoody UMC is ALL IN with our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness! Our emphasis in 2021 is on prayer, and the DUMC Prayer Ministry has dedicated a tree to holding your prayer requests. This tree is just to the right of the Sanctuary main entrance. There is now a bench to the left of the tree for you to sit and pray. There are prayer "ornaments" for you to write your prayer request on and then hang on the tree. These prayer requests will be prayed over by the prayer intercessors each week. We hope that you will take some time during Lent to deepen your prayer time and that this prayer tree will be a welcome addition. We welcome prayers from all people, including all our neighbors.

Join a Lenten Prayer Triad
You are invited to join a Lenten Prayer Triad! This is a great way to get to know two other people in the church and deepen your faith through discussion of the week's sermon and sharing prayer together. You can spend as much time together as you decide, and you can meet over the phone, by Zoom, or however the group decides is best. You will be assigned to a triad, and your group will decide the best time to meet each week. Each triad will meet 6 times, once a week from February 21 - April 3.
Sign up here, or call the church office at 770-394-0675.

The season of Lent is Feb. 17 - April 3. Join us each Sunday in worship for the Lenten sermon series, “Don't Waste the Wasteland,” and for the many services leading up to and during Holy Week. Sign up in advance for weekly outdoor worship and indoor worship, or join us online!
CURRENT WORSHIP SERIES
Have you ever felt like you were wandering in the wilderness? Searching for direction in a situation that feels strange and unknown? Struggling to find hope and inspiration in a place of spiritual drought? The wasteland is a place of temptation for Jesus, but also a place for growth, where Christ was humbled, tested and taught. Join DUMC this Lent as we confront this wasteland time in our world, learning new lessons and moving forward in faith.

Lent-at-Home Kits
Stay connected during Lent with our Lent-at-Home kits, available beginning Sunday, Feb. 14 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Activities Building portico, or outside the church office thereafter. If you need your kit delivered, please call the Church Office at (770) 394-0675, or contact susan.kee@dunwoodyumc.org.
