Thanks to our own Rev. Keith Lawder for his coordination, you are invited to meet UMCOR's Director of the Advance, Mary Lou Greenwood Boice, Wednesday, May 3, at 7:00 p.m in DUMC's Wesley Room!

The 2023 North Georgia Annual Conference is scheduled to take place in Athens, GA June 1-3, presided over by Bishop Robin Dease. With Bishop Dease naming Disaster Response and United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) as the recipient of the Annual Conference's Special Offering, Dunwoody UMC is honored to host Mary Lou and hear her discuss ongoing UMCOR initiatives. Part of the special offering will be used in our Conference tornado recovery efforts as UMCOR guides us in our own local disaster response.

While this is not a fund-raising event, we are grateful to learn about UMCOR's incredible humanitarian efforts, both near and far, in advance of the Annual Conference Special Offering.
