Your gifts make an enduring difference at DUMC.

At DUMC, we strive to be a dynamic Christian community of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Your giving helps us work toward that vision by doing more than just paying the power bill. It allows our ministries and missions to impact even more lives in new and exciting ways.

Your pledge allows DUMC to plan and budget for the coming year of ministries. When you pledge, we know we can count on your support!

Gifts that Endure

Your generosity makes a lasting impact for families at DUMC.

Giving contributes to the staff, resources, and experiences that shape the spirituality of our children and youth. In the past year, DUMC has seen tremendous growth in Children’s Ministries, as we welcomed new leaders and celebrated perennial favorites like Vacation Bible School. In 2020, we look forward to an exciting year of Youth Ministry with new leadership and new energy! Your giving will help provide life-transforming experiences for our youth and children.

Excellent music and worship doesn’t just benefit us – it’s a way of reaching new people.

By giving of your time and resources, you help to create experiences of music and worship that glorify God and touch hearts. In 2019, DUMC has used your gifts to make worship beautiful and inviting – providing music, flowers, and decor as well as resourcing ushers, greeters, and other crucial volunteers. This year, your giving will allow us to continue investing in worship ministries, special services, and musical events, opening the doors of our church in new ways!

What if money was no object when it came to our missions and outreach?

In 2019 alone, your support has allowed DUMC to package over 314,000 meals through Foodstock, provide 3000 summer lunches for children in our community, and send 55 people on mission trips. Imagine how much we can do in 2020! Through your generosity, we aim to provide scholarships for mission trips, ensuring that money is no longer a barrier for those who feel God’s call to serve. Your gifts will enable DUMC to fund even our biggest missions like Great Day of Service, and strengthen our partnerships with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Hightower Homework Club, and the Community Assistance Center.

Consecration Sunday

Sunday, November 17

We will culminate our worship series "Gifts That Endure" by celebrating Consecration Sunday. We will offer our praise and thanksgiving to God and consecrate our pledges to DUMC at all three services. In addition, we will host two celebration luncheons after the 10:00 a.m. Sunday School hour and 11:05 a.m. Traditional Service. Register to attend either of the luncheons by clicking below or calling the church office. We hope that you will join DUMC as we offer our gifts and celebrate our community!
