In order to donate 100% of the proceeds from our sale to charities benefiting women and children, we seek volunteers for all of the tasks related to the sale, including:

• Sorting donated items
• Tagging donated items
• Setting up items in preparation of the sale
• Managing other volunteers
• Serving as cashiers
• Organizing and sorting items after the sale
• Preparing meals for volunteers
• Helping people shop

Anyone is welcome to volunteer.

Volunteers who are unable to stand for long periods of time are welcome to sign up for those shifts that do not require heavy lifting or standing.

Nursery Available for Young Children of Volunteers

Complimentary childcare will be provided by registration only. Our nursery slots are limited, please sign up early. If a reservation is made and not cancelled 24 hours in advance, with the volunteer coordinator, a fee of $25 will be charged to offset the cost of unused nursery. We cannot provide nursery for children under 6 months of age. Children under 6 months may not accompany a volunteer to a shift.

Shop Early by Volunteering

The more hours you volunteer, the earlier you shop. Shopping our Presale is reserved solely for our volunteers. Please note that NO CHILDREN WILL BE ALLOWED AT THE PRESALE.

Allowed At the Pre-Sale

Due to space limitations, only one shopper is allowed in the pre-sale per volunteer. You may volunteer in place of another person. Please alert the volunteer coordinator if you are working for someone else.

All shifts receive an hour of credit for each hour worked. An additional bonus of one hour for each hour worked will be applied for the Sunday shift and all three Saturday shifts.

PRESALE SHOPPING TIMES (Wednesday, March 14, 2012)

16 or more hour workers: 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.

12 hour workers: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

8 hour workers: 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

4 hour workers: 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
