Sandy Springs Feed ‘n Seed

Three Sunday afternoons a month, volunteers serve a community meal to up to 100 needy people at the Sandy Springs UMC.

 

The guests include the underprivileged and homeless in Sandy Springs as well as residents of the Mary Hall Freedom House.

 

In addition to the meal, guests are offered haircuts before lunch, and they have the option of attending ESL classes or BLT (Bible Lesson Time) after lunch.

 

Dunwoody UMC members are an active part of this program. Volunteers are asked to provide a hearty lunch that includes an entrée, vegetables, salads, breads, and desserts; serve the lunch; dine and have fellowship with the guests; and assist with clean-up.
