Community Registration Update: January 13, 2016

Due to anticipated high demand for community openings at the preschool, we have updated our registration process.

We will not conduct a "first come-first served" registration. This is in order to avoid applicants arriving extra early, spending hours in the cold, or "camping out" in order to be among the first in line. Our hope is that this change will make registration more convenient (and safer) for everyone. The updated process is as follows:

Applications will be accepted beginning today (January 13, 2016) through Friday, January 22 at 2:00pm. You may come at any time during our Preschool Office Hours (9am-2pm). There will be no advantage or disadvantage based on what day or what time you drop off your application. No money will be due with the application.

DUMC members' applications will be processed on January 20 and we will then assess the number of available cummunity openings.

Applications will be processed within 48 hours after the application submission deadline of January 22 at 2:00pm. The Preschool Office will draw names from the applicant pool to fill the available community openings.

You will be notified on Monday, January 25 via email of your child's placement status.

If your child is placed: Payment of the $125 Registration Fee is due on Tuesday, January 26 by 2:00pm. The fee is payable by check made to Dunwoody UMC Preschool and is required to secure placement.

If your child is placed in the wait list pool: Should a space become available in the coming months, we will be in contact with you. Please note that all applications will be held in the wait list pool, and we do not maintain a specifically numbered wait list.
