    Community Assistance Center (CAC) brings together community resources to provide compassionate assistance to persons in need, prevent homelessness and promote self-sufficiency in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area.

  • Action Ministries
    • Mission Mondays

      Thank you for a fantastic summer of Mission Mondays! In addition to weekly fellowship, we made and packaged about 4,000 lunches for local children this summer.

    • Package of Hope

      Dunwoody UMC provides "Package of Hope" the last Saturday of each month. Distributing non perishable food that will feed a family of four for several days, DUMC's goal is to make families feel welcome as they work through tough financial times to get back on their feet.

    • Trinity Table

      Dunwoody UMC will prepare and serve lunch twice this year to over 300 homeless and working poor in downtown Atlanta at Trinity UMC.

    • Women’s Community Kitchen

      DUMC's Family Living & Giving circle volunteer regularly at the Women's Kitchen in Atlanta. Individuals can join the group and/or serve on their own weekly M-F. Homeless and low-income women & children receive meals and other assistance. The kitchen serves more than 20,000 meals annually.

  • Rise Against Hunger - FOODSTOCK
  • SSUMC Feed 'N Seed

    Several times a year, Dunwoody UMC volunteers serve a community meal to up to 100 needy people at the Sandy Springs UMC. The guests include the underprivileged and homeless in Sandy Springs as well as residents of the Mary Hall Freedom House

  • Atlanta Community Food Bank

    We need Volunteers the 2nd Wednesday of every month to pack food at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. We meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. and are back to the church by around 12:15 p.m. Transportation is provided.
