What to expect as a first time guest.

We're excited that you've made the decision to visit Dunwoody United Methodist Church. Our goal is to help you find groups and ministries that meet your interests and needs. Whether you are single, married, divorced, widowed; young, middle-aged, mature; with infants, toddlers, teens, 'tweens or grown children; we've got a group to meet your needs. God has brought you here for a reason. He wants you to find ways to use your unique gifts to contribute to the mission and ministry of His church. We hope you will open your heart to let Him guide you to YOUR place within Dunwoody UMC!

Dunwoody UMC offers three Sunday morning services for your convenience:

8:45 a.m. Contemporary Service – Fellowship Hall. An informal atmosphere with moving sermons and contemporary Christian music from our praise band. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of every month.

8:45 a.m. Morning Prayer & Communion Service – Sanctuary. A liturgical worship service of morning prayer, a message, and Holy Communion each week.

11:05 a.m. Traditional Service – Sanctuary. A traditional order of worship is followed with engaging sermons and music from the Chancel Choir. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of every month.

Visitors are always welcome at these services, and more information for visitors is available at our Welcome Desk located in the Narthex.

Just like college courses with the same title, the Dunwoody UMC 101 classes are an introduction to our church and our United Methodist denomination. Your clergy staff answers questions about what we do, why we do it, what we believe, and how to get involved. During the three-week class sessions, you will learn more about the church and its programs, United Methodist beliefs, and take a tour of the church. Rev. David Melton and other church clergy and staff teach the series of classes at 9:55 a.m. in Room 110 on various Sunday mornings. No pre-registration is required. Just come to the class. Contact Valerie Pitrof at 770-394-0675 x136.

Additional parking is located at the Dunwoody Library with shuttle service right to the front door of the Sanctuary.
