Our Library

Mission Statement

To provide members of Dunwoody United Methodist Church, and their guests, with administration and guidance in the purchase, maintenance, display, and lending of Christian-oriented books and audio-visual materials which promote Christian growth, inspiration, comfort, and affirmation of faith.

SUNDAYS: 10:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m., open and staffed.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS: Open but not staffed.

All other days, the library is open to its patrons with book check in and checkout done on an honor system that is explained on a placard at the Library Circulation Desk. At any time, books may be returned to the Circulation Desk as our Library is never locked.

Library holdings include over 7,000 volumes of book and non-book items which are loaned for a period of one month. Ours is an integrated collection that allows all non-book items—such as audiovisuals—to be inter-shelved along with corresponding books. Our Library also has a small reference section similar to that found in school and public libraries.

The Church's History Room is located within the library. For information on visiting the room or its archives, contact the Church Historian, Sue Cunnold at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
