worship2WORSHIP

Dunwoody UMC offers three Sunday morning services for your convenience. We offer two traditional services; an early service begins at 9:00 a.m. and the late service begins at 10:30 a.m. Both services are traditional Methodist style services with powerful music and dynamic preaching. We also offer a contemporary service at 9:00 a.m. in our Fellowship Hall. Featuring a praise band and contemporary Christian music, this service offers the opportunity for worship in a more relaxed and casual social gathering. We take communion on the first Sunday of every month in all three services. Visitors are always welcome at these services, and more information for visitors is available at our Welcome Desk located in the Narthex.

DUMC 101: INTRODUCTION TO DUNWOODY UMC CLASSES

Just like college courses with the same title, the Dunwoody UMC 101 classes are an introduction to our church and our United Methodist denomination. Your clergy staff answers questions about what we do, why we do it, what we believe, and how to get involved. During the class sessions, you will learn more about the church and its programs, United Methodist beliefs, and take a tour of the church. Rev. David Melton and other church clergy and staff teach the series of classes at 10:30 a.m. in the twenty30somethings suite on various Sunday mornings. Contact Rev. David Melton at 770-394-0675 x114.

A children's bulletin is available for all children attending the Sunday morning worship services. The traditional worship services includes a "Children's Moments" where children are invited to come to the altar rail for a time of sharing with the minister and prayer. After "Children's Moments", most children exit the Sanctuary to attend Sunday school. For more information on the Sunday programs for children, click here.

YOUTH

The 180° Youth Ministry at Dunwoody United Methodist Church offers programs for children from sixth through twelth grades.

At 180°, we believe that our Christian faith is all about renovation. If you were confirmed, you said yes to a life filled with renovation. We are a work in progress. We are never finished, and we never know exactly what's waiting around the next corner. Your 180° leaders want to make sure you've got the right tools for the job. We realize that there are all sorts of things out there competing for your time. However, time with God is very precious, and you will encounter God at 180°.

180° meets in the Youth Area located on the first floor of the Activities building. For more information click here.

PARKING

Additional parking is located at the Dunwoody Library with shuttle service right to the front door of the Sanctuary.
